What is Ultimate Frisbee?
Ultimate frisbee is a competitive, self-officiated, non-contact sport similar to American Football. Ultimate is played with seven players on each team with the object of the game being to score on the opposing team's endzone with a frisbee. Games are played to 15 points and have a two-hour limit.
Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed-upon rules, or the basic joy of play.
